Determine your enneagram.
Ennea-what? What is that?
From one point of view, the Enneagram can be seen as a set of nine distinct personality types, with each number on the Enneagram denoting one type. It is common to find a little of yourself in all nine of the types, although one of them should stand out as being closest to yourself. This is your basic personality type.
Listed below are nine personality types that create a personality circle called an enneagram. “The enneagram characterizes the thoughts we think all day…it portrays our biggest problem in life and our greatest gift -- and remarkably they are the same. The fundamental premise of the enneagram is that each of us has one dominant (not exclusive) energy that drives us in everything we do.” (Enneagram Central).

Most of us are combinations of multiple personality traits, but we often have a dominant one; start with the traits you think you identify with most, and jot down examples until you note one type you favor more than the others. Please focus on one dominant trait only, as this will help with paper development.
Write an essay that discusses you and your personality. Include your strengths and weaknesses as this personality type, as well as specific examples of how you fit this type. DO NOT write an essay that just describes the personality type! Write about YOU!! Your completed composition should be an example of your best writing (show me what you can do), including organization, content, style and grammar and should be about 250-350 words (one -two pages). Typing your paper is not essential, but is preferable. Let’s see what you can do!
